How does NEET counselling work for MBBS seats?
After NEET results, register on mcc.nic.in for All India Quota (15%) and on your state counselling portal for state quota (85%). Fill college choices in order of preference. Seats are allotted in multiple rounds with upgradation options. Apply4U mentors help with choice filling strategy.
Can I get MBBS admission without NEET?
No. NEET-UG is mandatory for MBBS, BDS and most AYUSH UG admissions in India as per NMC and government rules. Beware of agents promising direct admission without NEET — such offers are fraudulent.
What is the eligibility for MBBS admission in India?
You must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, score qualifying marks in NEET-UG, and be at least 17 years old. Admission is through MCC (All India Quota) or state counselling based on NEET rank, category and domicile rules.
Which entrance exams do you cover for campus admissions?
We cover JEE Main, CAT, NEET UG (for allied paths), CLAT, CUET and other popular entrance exams. Exam alerts and counselling guidance are available on apply4u.in.
What is the difference between government and private medical colleges?
Government colleges (AIIMS, state medical colleges) have subsidised annual fees (often ₹25,000–₹1 lakh). Private colleges charge higher fees (₹8 lakh–₹25 lakh+ per year) but may have lower NEET cut-offs. Both must be NMC-recognised for a valid MBBS degree.
What documents are needed for medical college admission?
Usually: NEET scorecard, Class 10 & 12 marksheets, transfer/migration certificate, character certificate, Aadhaar, category certificate (if applicable), passport photos, and allotment letter from counselling authority. Exact list varies by college and counselling body.
How can Study MBBS Apply4U help me?
We help NEET-qualified students shortlist NMC-recognised medical colleges by budget, state preference and cut-off trends, explain counselling rounds (MCC and state), and support document preparation. We do not guarantee seats — admission depends on your NEET rank and counselling rules.
